Renault used the Geneva Motor to introduce new Clio GT, which bridges the gap between standard and RS 200 models. New Clio GT combines Renaultsport tuned chassis with something more economical powertrain, where the front wheels supplying power 1.2-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine delivering 118 hp and 190 Nm of torque.
Matched to six-speed automated EDC dual-clutch transmission from the more powerful RS model, the Clio GT achieves 100 km / h in 8.6 seconds and sufficient maximum of 200 km / h.
Also, like the RS 200, Renault Sport has a “Drive” button which allows the driver to select from Normal to Sport mode, which adjusts the throttle responsiveness, speed change gears and resistance to control.
Unlike hothatch, a 5.2-liter achieves acceptable consumption.
RS inspired styling is evident on the grill, both bumpers, lip spoiler, 17-inch wheels, LED daytime running lights and dual chrome exhaust pipes.
Available in hatchback and wagon form, the GT can be ordered in the new Malta Blue. The interior gets aluminum pedals controls, sports seats and telemetry system display on the instrument panel.
