Early debut of Mitsubishi ASX 2013
Mitsubishi has started marketing its Mitsubishi ASX 2013 in New York already. Being a very big company in global operations, Mitsubishi has been able not only to develop a future car for 2013 but also to bring it out before the end of 2012. The ASX is a SUV with a lot changes and innovations introduced in all aspects of a car. It includes the exterior and interior, the transmission system and also the engine. The purpose of bringing out a new model is obviously to make it look completely different from the existing models so as to attract a wider section of customers.
It is natural for people to look for changes from the current ones while buying any product. Appearance is one of them and perhaps a deciding factor in 50% of the cases. A neat and beautiful appearance makes the future customer to take not only a second look on the product but also ask for more details about performance, price, durability etc. Keeping this aspect in view Mitsubishi has changed the exterior styling of 2013 of ASX and trimmed the interiors to make them look more sleek and roomy.
While talking of exteriors of a car, the grill, the headlights, taillights, bumpers, door handles etc; all come in to the picture. Taking this in to account the 2013 ASX is provided with chrome famed grills and a bumper which is smoothed out. The bezels for the fog light are much larger. The headlights have been darkened a little to reduce glare for oncoming drivers. The rear bumper has also been restyled to give a better appearance. The tail light lens has been given a tint which is darker than the existing model. It is hoped that these external features will be good enough to get a future customer more interested in the car.
Other attractions in the ASX 2013 car are the 18 inch wheels. It is slightly different from what is usually used by other makers. The interior of the car has been left without too much change as the design is the same as in the existing SUV model. The new version comes with two options as far as the color is concerned. They are white pearl and quick silver. Both are backed by black side sills. Chrome is used liberally to give an attractive overall look. Though the changes effected may look cosmetic some revisions have been made in technical aspects also.
The Mitsubishi ASX 2013 uses the usual two liter engine with four cylinders. Here also there is no change from the earlier models. However, an updated CVT is provided with an option for manual one also. What has changed from the earlier model is the rear suspension that has been upgraded with the latest technology in the field. A 1.8 liter diesel version of the 2013 ASX is also in the production line and is expected to reach the market before the end of this year. The diesel version is a little smaller than the petrol driven vehicle. Exact specifications of the new car and the prices are expected soon in all places.
